City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get some historical perspective at Castello di Issogne and Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini. Do your shopping at Via Roma and Reggia di Venaria Reale. Explore Turin's surroundings by going to Criptoportico Forense (in Aosta), River Rafting & Tubing (in La Salle) and Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre). Next up on the itinerary: pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Maria Ausiliatrice, take in the exciting artwork at Galleria Sabauda, see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, and get engrossed in the history at Museo del Carcere Le Nuove.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In May, plan for daily highs up to 64°F, and evening lows to 51°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Sun) to allow enough time to travel back home.
