City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Castello di Issogne and Collegiata dei Santi Pietro e Orso. Get some historical perspective at Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis and Castello Sarriod de La Tour. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Il Negozietto (in Chatillon), Castello di Verres (in Verres) and Criptoportico Forense (in Aosta). There's lots more to do: let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour, step into the grandiose world of Castello della Manta, browse the different shops at Shopville Le Gru, and examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema.

To find ratings, other places to visit, and other tourist information, go to the Turin online trip itinerary builder.

If you are flying in from Belgium, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. July in Turin sees daily highs of 30°C and lows of 21°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 25th (Wed) to allow time to travel back home.
