City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Santuario di Oropa and Castello di Issogne. Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis and Collegiata dei Santi Pietro e Orso will appeal to history buffs. Explore Turin's surroundings by going to Castello della Manta (in Manta), Castello e Parco di Masino (in Caravino) and Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre). There's lots more to do: admire the masterpieces at MAO - Museo d'Arte Orientale, explore the ancient world of Criptoportico Forense, and do a tasting at Marchesi di Barolo - Sede legale, magazzini e spedizioni.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In July, plan for daily highs up to 78°F, and evening lows to 65°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 7th (Fri) to allow time to travel back home.
