City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Visit Castello di Issogne and Castello e Parco di Masino for their historical value. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis and Castello della Manta. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art (in Rivoli), Aosta (Criptoportico Forense & Collegiata dei Santi Pietro e Orso) and Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre). There's lots more to do: explore the world behind art at Fondazione Accorsi Ometto - Museo di Arti Decorative, step into the grandiose world of Castello di Verres, hit the slopes at Via Lattea, and take in the exciting artwork at Galleria Sabauda.

To find maps, more things to do, and more tourist information, read Turin trip itinerary maker site.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In May, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 64°F, while at night they dip to 51°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Fri) early enough to travel back home.
