City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Visit Castello di Issogne and Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis for their historical value. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Castello e Parco di Masino and Castello di Verres. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Castello della Manta (in Manta), Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art (in Rivoli) and Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre). There's lots more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Collegiata dei Santi Pietro e Orso, delve into the distant past at Criptoportico Forense, take an in-depth tour of Museo del Carcere Le Nuove, and admire the masterpieces at Galleria Sabauda.
