City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Step off the beaten path and head to Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso and Castello di Grinzane Cavour. Go for a jaunt from Turin to Alba to see Centro Storico about 1h 15 min away. There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Juventus Museum, take an in-depth tour of Museo Egizio, get great views at Basilica of Superga, and catch a live event at Juventus Stadium.

To see where to stay, traveler tips, other places to visit, and tourist information, refer to the Turin online route planner.

If you are flying in from Malta, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In September, daytime highs in Turin are 24°C, while nighttime lows are 17°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Fri) so you can travel back home.
