City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso and River Rafting & Tubing. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Aosta (Porta Pretoria & Criptoportico Forense) and Castello di Issogne (in Issogne). And it doesn't end there: explore the world behind art at Museo Egizio, make a trip to Piazza San Carlo, admire the natural beauty at Parco del Valentino, and take some stellar pictures from Basilica of Superga.

To see maps and tourist information, go to the Turin driving holiday planner.

If you are flying in from Malta, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In May, plan for daily highs up to 20°C, and evening lows to 12°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Tue) to allow time to travel back home.
