City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Reggia di Venaria Reale (in Venaria Reale), Zoom Torino (in Cumiana) and Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino). There's still lots to do: take an in-depth tour of Museo Egizio, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, don't miss a visit to Piazza San Carlo, and see where the action happens at Juventus Stadium.

To see maps, where to stay, photos, and tourist information, you can read our Turin trip planner.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 73°F in June, and nighttime lows around 60°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Sun) to allow time to travel back home.
