City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Venture out of the city with trips to Reggia di Venaria Reale (in Venaria Reale) and Parco Naturale del Monte San Giorgio (in Piossasco). There's still lots to do: get engrossed in the history at Museo Egizio, admire the landmark architecture of Palazzo Reale, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Basilica of Superga, and admire the natural beauty at Parco del Valentino.

If you are flying in from Japan, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In June, daytime highs in Turin are 26°C, while nighttime lows are 18°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 14th (Wed) so you can travel back home.
