In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Take a break from Milan with a short trip to Anything But Work in Mandello del Lario, about 1h 15 min away. There's lots more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Duomo di Milano, admire all the interesting features of Stadio Giuseppe Meazza (San Siro), step into the grandiose world of Castello Sforzesco, and browse the different shops at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
