Built surrounding a 16th-century fortified port, Alghero remains one of Sardinia's most visited sites, rich in cultural and historical heritage.
Get outdoors at Dolphin & Whale Watching and Spiaggia Mugoni. Visit Nuraghe di Palmavera and La Necropoli di Anghelu Ruju for their historical value. Step out of Alghero to go to Porto Torres and see Parco Nazionale Asinara, which is approximately 1h 30 min away.
