City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
For shopping fun, head to Reggia di Venaria Reale or Mercato Centrale Torino. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Cantina del Glicine (in Neive) and Castello di Grinzane Cavour (in Grinzane Cavour). The adventure continues: take some stellar pictures from Basilica of Superga, don't miss a visit to Piazza Castello, catch a live event at Juventus Stadium, and get engrossed in the history at Museo Egizio.

For where to stay, reviews, other places to visit, and more tourist information, read our Turin holiday planning site.

If you are flying in from Malta, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In April in Turin, expect temperatures between 17°C during the day and 9°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 24th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
