City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get some historical perspective at Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone and Basilica of Superga. Explore Turin's surroundings by going to Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino), Reggia di Venaria Reale (in Venaria Reale) and Zoom Torino (in Cumiana). There's still lots to do: catch a live event at Juventus Stadium, stroll around Parco Naturale del Monte San Giorgio, and examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema.

If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In May, daytime highs in Turin are 20°C, while nighttime lows are 12°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 6th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
