City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Castello e Parco di Masino and Reggia di Venaria Reale. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Museo del Carcere Le Nuove and Musei Reali. Change things up with these side-trips from Turin: Castello di Issogne (in Issogne) and Museo della Magia (in Cherasco). And it doesn't end there: get engrossed in the history at Museo Egizio, examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, and wander the streets of Via Roma.

For other places to visit, traveler tips, ratings, and tourist information, refer to the Turin trip planner.

If you are flying in from Greece, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In March, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 11°C, while at night they dip to 5°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 17th (Sun) to allow enough time to travel back home.
