City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Basilica of Superga and Room Escape Games. Step out of Turin to go to Sant'Ambrogio di Torino and see Sacra di San Michele, which is approximately 50 minutes away. There's still lots to do: make a trip to Piazza Castello, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, explore the world behind art at Museo Egizio, and admire the landmark architecture of Palazzo Reale.

To see where to stay, maps, more things to do, and other tourist information, refer to the Turin road trip app.

If you are flying in from Switzerland, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. March in Turin sees daily highs of 11°C and lows of 5°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 1st (Sun) early enough to travel back home.
