A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Parco del Valentino and Sacra di San Michele. Step out of Turin to go to Vietri sul Mare and see Parrocchia San Giovanni, which is approximately 9 hours away. There's much more to do: steep yourself in history at Basilica of Superga, examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, make a trip to Piazza San Carlo, and test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms.

To see reviews, more things to do, photos, and tourist information, go to the Turin trip tool.

If you are flying in from Switzerland, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In March, daytime highs in Turin are 11°C, while nighttime lows are 5°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 1st (Sun) so you can travel back home.
