City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini and Colline di Torino. Explore Turin's surroundings by going to Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso (in Aosta), Castello di Issogne (in Issogne) and Castello di Verres (in Verres). The adventure continues: explore the historical opulence of Castello di Serralunga d'Alba and wander the streets of Via Roma.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In September in Turin, expect temperatures between 69°F during the day and 58°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 21st (Sat) to allow time for travel back home.
