City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Castello di Issogne (in Issogne), Castello di Verres (in Verres) and Castello e Parco di Masino (in Caravino). There's lots more to do: hike along Rifugio Vittorio Sella, step into the grandiose world of Castello della Manta, steep yourself in history at Villa della Regina, and take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Colline di Torino.

To find other places to visit, reviews, more things to do, and other tourist information, read our Turin online trip itinerary maker.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In June, daytime highs in Turin are 73°F, while nighttime lows are 60°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 9th (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
