City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini and Colline di Torino. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Marchesi di Barolo - Sede legale, magazzini e spedizioni (in Barolo), Castello di Verres (in Verres) and Castello di Issogne (in Issogne). Next up on the itinerary: pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Maria Ausiliatrice, admire the striking features of Villa della Regina, and step into the grandiose world of Castello della Manta.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In September, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 24°C, while at night they dip to 17°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 26th (Wed) early enough to travel back home.
