City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Step out of the city life by going to Colline di Torino and Via Lattea. Castello di Issogne and Basilica of Superga are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Venture out of the city with trips to Castello e Parco di Masino (in Caravino) and Castello di Verres (in Verres). Next up on the itinerary: make a trip to Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini, visit Quadrilatero Romano, and wander the streets of Via Roma.

If you are flying in from Switzerland, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In May, plan for daily highs up to 20°C, and evening lows to 12°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 14th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
