City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Head to Reggia di Venaria Reale and Galleria Sabaudafor plenty of shopping. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile and Museo Egizio. Venture out of the city with trips to Parco Naturale del Monte San Giorgio (in Piossasco) and Zoom Torino (in Cumiana). And it doesn't end there: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, wander the streets of Via Roma, and contemplate the long history of Basilica of Superga.

To find maps, ratings, reviews, and more tourist information, refer to the Turin trip planner.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 20°C in May, and nighttime lows around 12°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 2nd (Sun) early enough to travel back home.
