City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get some cultural insight at Basilica of Superga and Reggia di Venaria Reale. Shop till you drop at Mercato Centrale Torino and Mondovicino Outlet Village. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Parco Naturale del Monte San Giorgio (in Piossasco), Azienda Agricola But di Meistro Flavio (in Costigliole d'Asti) and Ferraris Agricola (in Castagnole Monferrato). There's still lots to do: get engrossed in the history at Museo Egizio, take in the spiritual surroundings of Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, and examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In March in Turin, expect temperatures between 50°F during the day and 40°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 26th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
