City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Step out of the city life by going to Parco Naturale del Monte San Giorgio and Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso. Museum-lovers will appreciate Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile. There's lots more to do: see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, get a taste of the local shopping with Mercato Centrale Torino, take in the spiritual surroundings of Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, and make a trip to Piazza San Carlo.

For ratings, traveler tips, photos, and tourist information, refer to the Turin route planner.

If you are flying in from Spain, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 11°C in March, and nighttime lows around 5°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 22nd (Wed) early enough to travel back home.
