City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get some cultural insight at Castello di Verres and Castello di Issogne. Visiting Parco Regionale del Mont Avic and Rifugio Vittorio Sella will get you outdoors. When in Turin, make a side trip to see Colle del Nivolet in Ceresole Reale, approximately Ceresole Reale away. The adventure continues: take in the awesome beauty at Colline di Torino.

For photos, reviews, maps, and more tourist information, you can read our Turin vacation planner.

If you are flying in from The Netherlands, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In November, daytime highs in Turin are 11°C, while nighttime lows are 7°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 3rd (Sat) so you can travel back home.
