City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Basilica of Superga and Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone. Do some cultural sightseeing at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile and Museo Nazionale del Cinema. Change things up with these side-trips from Turin: Parco Naturale del Monte San Giorgio (in Piossasco), Reggia di Venaria Reale (in Venaria Reale) and Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino). There's lots more to do: explore the world behind art at Museo Egizio, admire the striking features of Palazzo Reale Di Torino, and stroll around Parco del Valentino.

For more things to do, maps, ratings, and other tourist information, refer to the Turin online vacation planner.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In June, daytime highs in Turin are 73°F, while nighttime lows are 60°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 13th (Tue) so you can travel back home.
