A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Kick off your visit on the 27th (Sun): steep yourself in history at Palazzo Reale and then see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 28th (Mon): admire the masterpieces at Egyptian Museum of Turin, then examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, then make a trip to Piazza San Carlo, and finally get great views at Basilica of Superga.

If you are flying in from Lithuania, the closest major airports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In January, plan for daily highs up to 6°C, and evening lows to 1°C. You'll have a few hours on the 29th (Tue) to wrap things up before traveling home.
