City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Museum-lovers will get to explore Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile and Museo Nazionale del Cinema. Reggia di Venaria Reale and Museo Egizio are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Explore Turin's surroundings by going to Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi (in Stupinigi) and Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino). There's still lots to do: take some stellar pictures from Basilica of Superga, contemplate the long history of Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms, and make a trip to Piazza San Carlo.

To see more things to do, where to stay, ratings, and tourist information, go to the Turin online driving holiday planner.

If you are flying in from Germany, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In June, daytime highs in Turin are 26°C, while nighttime lows are 18°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 3rd (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
