City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Let the collections at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile and Museo Egizio capture your imagination. Do some cultural sightseeing at Reggia di Venaria Reale and Sacra di San Michele. There's lots more to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, get great views at Basilica of Superga, admire the striking features of Palazzo Reale, and catch a live event at Juventus Stadium.

To find other places to visit, where to stay, photos, and other tourist information, read Turin sightseeing planner.

If you are flying in from Denmark, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In September, plan for daily highs up to 24°C, and evening lows to 17°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 4th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
