City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Let the collections at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile and Reggia di Venaria Reale capture your imagination. Do some cultural sightseeing at Museo Nazionale del Cinema and Museo Egizio. Change things up with a short trip to Sacra di San Michele in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino (about 50 minutes away). There's still lots to do: take some stellar pictures from Basilica of Superga, admire the landmark architecture of Palazzo Reale, catch a live event at Juventus Stadium, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone.

For other places to visit, more things to do, reviews, and tourist information, you can read our Turin route planner.

If you are flying in from Denmark, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. September in Turin sees daily highs of 24°C and lows of 17°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 4th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
