City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile and Reggia di Venaria Reale. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Basilica of Superga and Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi. Go for a jaunt from Turin to Sant'Ambrogio di Torino to see Sacra di San Michele about 50 minutes away. There's lots more to do: take an in-depth tour of Museo Egizio, contemplate the long history of Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, and admire the striking features of Palazzo Reale.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. May in Turin sees daily highs of 64°F and lows of 51°F at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 9th (Tue) so you can travel back home.
