City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile. Your inner history buff will appreciate Reggia di Venaria Reale and Basilica of Superga. Go for a jaunt from Turin to Sant'Ambrogio di Torino to see Sacra di San Michele about 50 minutes away. There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, catch a live event at Juventus Stadium, and make a trip to Piazza San Carlo.

For traveler tips, maps, where to stay, and other tourist information, use the Turin vacation planning app.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In October, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 58°F, while at night they dip to 51°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 9th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
