City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get a sense of the local culture at Il Bucintoro dei Savoia and Castello e Parco di Masino. Museum-lovers will get to explore Fondazione Accorsi Ometto - Museo di Arti Decorative and Museo del Carcere Le Nuove. Venture out of the city with trips to Santuario di Oropa (in Oropa) and Castello della Manta (in Manta). Next up on the itinerary: pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Maria Ausiliatrice, don't miss a visit to Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini, and explore the world behind art at MAO - Museo d'Arte Orientale.

To find traveler tips, maps, where to stay, and tourist information, refer to the Turin trip itinerary planning website.

Expect a daytime high around 20°C in May, and nighttime lows around 12°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Thu) to allow time to travel back home.
