City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get some cultural insight at Basilica of Superga and Museo Nazionale del Cinema. Popular historic sites such as Reggia di Venaria Reale and Santuario della Consolata are in your itinerary. Step out of Turin with an excursion to Sacra di San Michele in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino--about 50 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: admire the masterpieces at Museo Egizio, don't miss a visit to Piazza San Carlo, examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, and see where the action happens at Juventus Stadium.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In May, plan for daily highs up to 64°F, and evening lows to 51°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 3rd (Fri) so you can travel back home.
