City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Step off the beaten path and head to Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini and Via Lattea. Step out of Turin to go to Alba and see Centro Storico, which is approximately 1h 15 min away. There's much more to do: don't miss a visit to Basilica of Superga, take in nature's colorful creations at Parco del Valentino, get engrossed in the history at Museo Egizio, and examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema.

For other places to visit, more things to do, ratings, and more tourist information, you can read our Turin trip maker app.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 50°F in March, and nighttime lows around 40°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Sun) so you can travel back home.
