A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Step out of Turin to go to Venaria Reale and see Reggia di Venaria Reale, which is approximately 32 minutes away. There's still lots to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Basilica of Superga, examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, explore the world behind art at Museo Egizio, and see where the action happens at Juventus Stadium.

For reviews, other places to visit, traveler tips, and tourist information, go to the Turin trip planning website.

If you are flying in from Lithuania, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In January in Turin, expect temperatures between 6°C during the day and 1°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 29th (Tue) so you can travel back home.
