Barolo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50km southeast of Turin and about 40km northeast of Cuneo. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Barolo: Mondovicino Outlet Village (in Mondovi), Castello della Manta (in Manta) and Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis (in Vicoforte). And it doesn't end there: examine the collection at WiMu - Museo del Vino a Barolo, make a trip to Panchina blu di Chris Bangle, admire nature's extreme beauty at Barbero, and learn about winemaking at Cantina Francesco Borgogno.

Milan to Barolo is an approximately 2-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of train and bus; or do a combination of train and bus. Traveling from Milan in May, Barolo is slightly colder at night with lows of °F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Sun) to allow enough time to travel back home.
