Possibly the world's most diverse city, Toronto houses over 80 ethnic communities speaking nearly 150 different languages or dialects.
Visit Cobourg Beach and Sunset Point Park for some beach relaxation. For shopping fun, head to Primitive Designs or St. Lawrence Market. Explore Toronto's surroundings by going to Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum (in Mount Hope), Niagara-on-the-Lake (Southbrook Vineyards, Niagara River Recreation Trail, &more) and Malivoire Wine Company (in Beamsville). There's lots more to do: appreciate the extensive heritage of The Distillery District, trek along Niagara Glen Nature Areas, examine the collection at St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre at Lock 3, and learn about all things military at National Air Force Museum of Canada.

Your day by day itinerary now includes Bank of Canada Museum, Rideau Canal National Historic Site and National Gallery of Canada. Start off your visit on the 9th (Tue): get engrossed in the history at Bank of Canada Museum, see the interesting displays at National Gallery of Canada, explore the activities along Rideau Canal National Historic Site, explore the galleries of MonSky Creations, then steep yourself in history at Brockville Railway Tunnel (Open April through October), and finally steep yourself in history at Fort Wellington. On the 10th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: learn about all things military at Canadian War Museum, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Sir John A. MacDonald Parkway, and then look for all kinds of wild species at Arboretum (Experimental Farm).
