City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Your list of things to see and do now includes Santuario della Consolata, Basilica of Superga, Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, and other attractions. Kick off your visit on the 24th (Thu): see where the action happens at Juventus Stadium, shop like a local with Reggia di Venaria Reale, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Santuario della Consolata, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, and finally admire the striking features of Palazzo Reale. Here are some ideas for day two: get great views at Basilica of Superga, examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, and then get engrossed in the history at Museum of the Risorgimento.
