City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Kick off your visit on the 25th (Sat): make a trip to Piazza San Carlo, then admire the striking features of Palazzo Reale, then see where the action happens at Juventus Stadium, and finally contemplate the long history of Basilica of Superga. On the 26th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: stroll around Parco del Valentino, then examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, and then explore the world behind art at Museo Egizio.

To find reviews, other places to visit, and more tourist information, go to the Turin trip planning site.

If you are flying in from Switzerland, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. March in Turin sees daily highs of 11°C and lows of 5°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 26th (Sun) early enough to travel back home.
