City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Start off your visit on the 8th (Sat): examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, then make a trip to Piazza San Carlo, then take an in-depth tour of Museo Egizio, and finally make a trip to Piazza Castello. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 9th (Sun): see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, stroll around Parco del Valentino, and then get great views at Basilica of Superga.

If you are flying in from France, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. July in Turin sees daily highs of 30°C and lows of 21°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 9th (Sun) early enough to travel back home.
