A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
On the 6th (Fri), stroll through Parco Regionale La Mandria, step into the grandiose world of Castello e Parco di Masino, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Basilica di Superga, and finally don't miss a visit to Piazza Castello. Keep things going the next day: make a trip to Santa Maria del Monte - Monte dei Cappuccini, admire the striking features of Villa della Regina, contemplate the waterfront views at Colline di Torino, then see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Santuario Basilica Maria Ausiliatrice.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major airports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In July, daytime highs in Turin are 30°C, while nighttime lows are 21°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Sat) so you can travel back home.
