City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Kick off your visit on the 6th (Sat): make a trip to Piazza Castello and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Basilica of Superga. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: take an in-depth tour of Museo Egizio, then make a trip to Piazza San Carlo, and then see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema.

For other places to visit, reviews, traveler tips, and tourist information, read Turin attractions planning tool.

If you are flying in from France, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In April, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 17°C, while at night they dip to 9°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Sun) to allow enough time to travel back home.
