City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Escape the urban bustle at Parco Naturale del Monte San Giorgio and Lake Orta. Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale del Cinema will appeal to museum buffs. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Forte di Bard (in Bard), Castello e Parco di Masino (in Caravino) and Castello di Issogne (in Issogne). Next up on the itinerary: examine the collection at Civic Museum of Ancient Art (Palazzo Madama), get engrossed in the history at Borgo Medievale, explore the activities along San Giulio Island, and take in the exciting artwork at Galleria Sabauda.

If you are flying in from United Arab Emirates, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In June, plan for daily highs up to 26°C, and evening lows to 18°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Thu) to allow time to travel back home.
