City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Escape the urban bustle at Parco Naturale del Monte San Giorgio and Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso. Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile will appeal to museum buffs. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Castello di Issogne (in Issogne), Castello e Parco di Masino (in Caravino) and Forte di Bard (in Bard). There's much more to do: examine the collection at Civic Museum of Ancient Art (Palazzo Madama), take an in-depth tour of Borgo Medievale, contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Orta, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Sacro Monte di Orta.

If you are flying in from United Arab Emirates, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In June, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 26°C, while at night they dip to 18°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Thu) early enough to travel back home.
