Considered a cultural, artistic, and architectural jewel of Italy, Florence is the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.
Start off your visit on the 2nd (Sat): stroll through Easy Living - Spiaggia sull'Arno, take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, and then admire the masterpieces at Gallerie Degli Uffizi. On your second day here, experience rural life at Castello di Verrazzano and then do a tasting at Castello del Trebbio.

In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Get some cultural insight at Duomo di Milano and Piazza del Duomo. Take a break from the city and head to Turati Centro Nautico Lario and Melissa Beach. Explore Milan's surroundings by going to AC Boat (in Menaggio) and Eremo di S. Caterina del Sasso (in Leggiuno). There's more to do: step into the grandiose world of Castello Sforzesco and browse the different shops at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.

Once the most important harbor in the Mediterranean Sea, Genoa has a long history as a rich and powerful trade center in northern Italy.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Footpath Monterosso - Vernazza and D'Albertis Castle. Get some historical perspective at Basilica di Santa Maria di Castello and Castello Brown. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Genoa: Vernazza (Vernazza & Santa Margherita di Antiochia Church), Faro di Portofino (in Portofino) and Baia del Silenzio (in Sestri Levante). There's still lots to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Chiesa del Gesu e dei Santi Ambrogio e Andrea.
