City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get some cultural insight at Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi and Ricetto di Candelo. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Castello di Grinzane Cavour and Juventus Museum. Venture out of the city with trips to Sacro Monte di Orta (in Orta San Giulio), Castel Savoia (in Gressoney Saint Jean) and Vicolungo The Style Outlets (in Vicolungo). Spend the 29th (Sun) exploring nature at Parco Regionale del Mont Avic. The adventure continues: take an in-depth tour of Armeria Reale, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Santuario di Oropa, take in the spiritual surroundings of Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis, and see the interesting displays at Civic Museum of Ancient Art (Palazzo Madama).

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In October, daytime highs in Turin are 58°F, while nighttime lows are 51°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 30th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
