Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
Visit El Barri Gòtic and Basilica of the Sagrada Familia for their historical value. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Casa Batllo and Museo Picasso. Kick off your visit on the 19th (Fri): examine the collection at Casa-Museo de Manuel de Falla, admire the natural beauty at Generalife, and then step into the grandiose world of Alhambra. On your second day here, take an in-depth tour of Archive Saint John of God Museum, examine the collection at Casa Museo Max Moreau, then take a stroll through Albayzin, and finally take an in-depth tour of Casa de Castril.

Fly from Barcelona to Granada in 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and train; or drive. Kick off your visit on the 24th (Wed): see the interesting displays at Dutch Costume Museum and Dutch Costume Photo Studio. On your second day here, have fun and explore at NEMO Science Museum, then admire the masterpieces at Rijksmuseum, and then explore the world behind art at Museum Het Rembrandthuis (Rembrandt House).
