Stresa is a town and comune of about 5,000 residents on the shores of Lake Maggiore in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Piedmont region of northern Italy, about 90km northwest of Milan. Escape the urban bustle at Isola Bella and San Giulio Island. Visit Palazzo Borromeo and Linea Cadorna for their historical value. Explore Stresa's surroundings by going to Lake Orta (in Orta San Giulio), Azienda Vitivinicola Fontechiara (in Borgomanero) and Azienda Agricola L'Agrifoglio (in Bolzano Novarese).
