While Luxembourg City boasts the shiny headquarters of several European institutions and EU offices, it is also home to a beautiful old town that's designated as a World Heritage Site.
Get some historical perspective at Casemates du Bock and Le Chemin de la Corniche. Get a sense of the local culture at Palace of the Grand Dukes (Palais Grand-Ducal) and Luxembourg American Cemetery Memorial. Get out of town with these interesting Luxembourg City side-trips: Mullerthal Trail (in Mullerthal) and Domaine Henri Ruppert (in Schengen).
