While Luxembourg City boasts the shiny headquarters of several European institutions and EU offices, it is also home to a beautiful old town that's designated as a World Heritage Site.
Step out of the city life by going to Mullerthal Trail and Casemates du Bock. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Neumunster and Le Chemin de la Corniche. There's lots more to do: explore the historical opulence of Palace of the Grand Dukes (Palais Grand-Ducal), do a tasting at Domaine Henri Ruppert, don't miss a visit to Barrio Grund, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Notre Dame Cathedral (Cathedrale Notre Dame).
