On the 11th (Sat), take an in-depth tour of Welcome to Rome, get to know the fascinating history of Piazza Navona, pause for some serene contemplation at St. Peter's Basilica, then delve into the distant past at Pantheon, and finally delve into the distant past at Colosseum. Keep things going the next day: delve into the distant past at Palatine Hill, then steep yourself in history at Roman Forum, then make a trip to Trevi Fountain, and finally wander the streets of Trastevere.
