City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Head to Reggia di Venaria Reale and Vicolungo The Style Outletsfor some retail therapy. Get a sense of the local culture at Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile. Explore Turin's surroundings by going to River Rafting & Tubing (in Morgex), Serravalle Designer Outlet (in Serravalle Scrivia) and Zoom Torino (in Cumiana). There's much more to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, make a trip to Piazza San Carlo, steep yourself in history at Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, and stroll through Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 78°F in July, and nighttime lows around 65°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 11th (Sat) to allow time to travel back home.
