City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Appreciate the collections at Museo Nazionale del Cinema and Museum of the Risorgimento. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Castello di Verres (in Verres), Reggia di Venaria Reale (in Venaria Reale) and Forte di Bard (in Bard). Spend the 26th (Tue) exploring nature at Parco Regionale del Mont Avic. There's still lots to do: view the masterpieces at Galleria Sabauda, see where the action happens at Juventus Stadium, make a trip to Piazza San Carlo, and take an in-depth tour of Museo Pietro Micca e dell'assedio di Torino del 1706.

To see reviews, ratings, other places to visit, and tourist information, use the Turin trip planning website.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. March in Turin sees daily highs of 50°F and lows of 40°F at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 1st (Mon) so you can travel back home.
