Stresa is a town and comune of about 5,000 residents on the shores of Lake Maggiore in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Piedmont region of northern Italy, about 90km northwest of Milan. Venture out of the city with trips to Chiesa di Santa Maria delle Grazie (in Varallo), Lake Orta (in Orta San Giulio) and Parco Naturale Alpe Veglia Alpe Devero (in Baceno). Foppolo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 120km northeast of Milan and about 60km north of Bergamo.
